Hi loracyam.
Welcome to the forum.
Weather in October in Lanza; nice & hot during the day, but as everyone says, take a bit of a fleece or something (just to carry) really    in case it goes a bit chilly. Sayin that, I've taken fleeces & never needed em....Maybe around Christmas time, but not in October....
As for the exchange rate, looking around varoius places of late, it seems to be hovering between about 1.12€ - 1.16€ to the £. But as we all know, things change on a daily basis....
No matter what..........have a great holiday !!
