This bar has to be worth a mention. You will find it in the square by Arthur's and John's Fish and Chip Restaurant. Great atmosphere, really cheap drinks and excellent food for very reasonable prices.
Recently been taken over by Steve, Sue, Sandra and Del. Same menu and prices as before - so excellent value for money.
The fish gourjons are delicious and it is a very filling meal for only 5 euros. YES - that is right 5 euros. Heard they have started doing Sunday roasts too. Not been for one of them yet, but I will certainly be heading that way soon.
So next time you are in PDC - remember to pop along to Friends.

Hello star - nice to see you popping in. Hope you're ok and that you're keeping that man of yours in check.  Yes... loving Friends Bar! I popped in and saw Steve and Sue recently. Fab prices, fab snacks. And of course we love Steve and Sue anyway. I've been promised a hot date lunchtime meetup with Currylover when he's over for Xmas. Met Steve on numerous occasions when he worked for John at Spenders....crackin bloke...In fact, as I've said many a time..both John & Steve are.. top dollar in my book... Like everyone. I didn't know that Steve had taken over Friends ?, And is that Del the Southampton fan ? Does that also mean there might be a few shifts going at Spenders ? |

Been really busy at work and with planning the wedding next year.
Hope to be over to PDC again in Jan, for some much needed sunshine and relaxation, (a Christmas suprise for the future Mrs) !

Hello Dixie,  She's not on the forum, (as far as I know ) The plans are copming along nicely, I just thought it'd be nice to surpirise her with some winter sunshine after Christmas and all the stress of planning the wedding. Speaking of which it's in early May so that doesn't leave us long to lose the extra lb's we usually put on from all the wonderful food and drink over there !  |

It's right opposite Arthur's Bar, and slightly to the left of the chippy, Sam. It's next door but one. I think it's a hairdressers in between the two.

well I'd already arranged a few drinks out next Saturday, supposedly Ruta 66, but now had a message to say our friends dont fancy taking out a second mortgage and would rather go somewhere cheaper .....
no prizes for guessing where they've suggested and where we'll be spending next Saturday!
