I don't know how many of you have watched this.... but Bart and I loved it!
All started when someone posted a video on this forum from Comic Relief or similar of "Smithy" coaching the English footie team. (If anyone can find it again... please post the link in this thread). Bart - can you please remind me which footballer then performed his "act" at an actual game which sent the crowd wild.
So we then heard that "Smithy" was getting loads of credit for a series called "Gavin & Stacey". So off I wrent to my favourite torrent site to see what was what. And OMG what was what was bloody great!!!! Well... normally we watch a programme... and then delete it... but we kept the first 2 series AND the Crimbo special. (I'm typing this in a Welsh accent... can you tell?)
It's a massive favourite of ours. Gavin and Stacey themselves are the weakest characters... but Smithy, Ness, Gavin's parents, Stacey's uncle, Stacey's old nextdoor neighbour nympho old bird - I love them all!!!! Fantastic all!
Apparently Series 3 is to be released to DVD on my birthday November 23rd (how cool is that?!) which means they must be screening it on BBC before that date. Rumour has it at the end of October. I can't wait!
So my lovelies... please please please please please... flag it up as soon as you spot it being advertised please. It's the final series... so we know it'll be a goodun.
Anyone else seen it? What did you think?

I've only seen a few episodes but I agree it's fantastic. I was channel hopping last night and came across episode 1 of I assume series 2 on BBC 3 I think - it's where G and S come back from honeymoon and most of the action takes place in the ladies loos in an Italian restaurant.

Went to bed at 6am Keith... but then overslept until half ten. Grrr. I'll be having an early night tonight I expect. We have a morning meeting tomorrow up the other end of the island, and not 100% sure how to get there yet... plus we should be out for most of the day - so an early start. Had to Google provigil  |

Yes, the DVD of Series 3 is released on November 23rd, and is apparently 6 episodes... so by counting back 6 weeks... we should be seeing it any time soon. BBC are keeping very tightlipped though - buggers! Unless it goes straight to DVD - but I can't see that happening.
