Some of you know Allan day... and also know that we adore him and his wife Lainey. Well... we have some exciting news!!!
In September 2009 the cover track "Home" on Allan's album "You Don't Know Me" made its way to the New York Offices of EMI - The track was actually listened to and also liked by the bosses and has been passed to the 2nd stage. Allan will be discussed in a conference in Los Angeles with EMI bosses along with another 2 bands and a decision will be made as to whether Allan or the bands are chosen for EMI's next project **
Whatever happens Allan is overwhelmed and very happy that his voice has carried him this far. He will be, dixie - unless he gets jetted off before that.
He mainly does weddings and functions now - but I believe he may still do a regular night at Las Brisas in Playa Blanca. He's worth travelling up from Carmen for.
He's just one of those really nice guys. He moved over 2 days before us... so this is a lovely surprise for his 3rd anniversary. We're chuffed as punch for him and Lainey.
