Have heard back from Allan... and EMI loved his voice and paid him great compliments for it. Unfortunately they say the market has a lot of this style of music already at the moment... but have encouraged him to come up with something a bit different.

Any budding songwriters out there? Let's get our "Two Ls" top of the charts!
