I'll get Alan to have a look when he nips to the shops later on - unless someone else answers in the meantime of course.

Oops - sorry! I forgot to ask him. I would guess it's about 1.08 to the GBP at the moment, based on my online rate notifier

Thanxs for that Overhere - me thinks I'll exchange my money when I'm out there as usual - well I'd normally use my Nationwide card but they are now charging so not sure if they are the best to use anymore

Karen, you're not going to be carrying large quantities of Sterling  from UK then Euros here are you?  Why not just use the hole in the wall here, and put the tenner or so you lose out on over your holiday down to insurance against the risk of losing the lot in one go!

Hi Oldie-girl, it depends on who your UK bank is, and the day and time of day you actually change, it's been up and down a couple of cents this week. Frankly, I#d look at how many euros you get for £100 from your UK bank, and assume its withing about 2 euros of that, plus or minus. Over a holiday, the difference isn't going to be much more than a round of drinks, so relax Smiley

OG - I think Santander's cards are VISA so you can use this calculator to find out the rate you will get on any given day.
