ok I'm going with a play on words with this one cos I've just watched Saw V!

I've now got all five of them on dvd and I personally thought this was one of the better ones!  But whereas some films that do one after another after another you can pick up on number 3 (say) and still follow it?  I think you've really got to watch them in order to follow whats going on.

Anyway, at least I didnt fall asleep on the sofa so it must have kept my attention!

Watched a few recently

Observe & Report - Stay away from this one its absolutely t*ts
Seven Pounds - Will smith film (not great not terrible tho)
Lesbian Vampire Killers - (horne & Corden from gavin & stacey fame) - the sort of standard of a comedy you would expect with that title, its definitely no gavin and stacey
Monsters vs aliens - funny family CGI film - enjoyed this one
The Hangover - really enjoyed this one, laughing all the way through  Grin

im now on the look out for some ideas of new releases anyone can recommend

Last film I saw was "Up" which is the new movie from Pixar.  I thought it was excellent.  A really family film.

Maybe not one for the guys (unless you have a sensitive side, like my 20 year old, who blubbered nearly as much as me at certain parts of the movie!)  Roll Eyes   We're a right pair!   Cheesy

I quite liked the look of that one Lefty when I saw it advertised!

We watched Horsemen of the Apocalypse last night - Mr SG decided if we were going to watch a film it had to be a horror on Halloween.  It was "ok" but nothing special.

I'm currently trying to convince him to watch Marley and Me but he's having none of it!

Marley & Me - like to think im not the most emotional person in the world but thats a tough one to watch. Drag me to hell is worth watching, its just not what i would call the scariest film of the decade.

got a tip from someone last night to give 'zombieland' a try, i like woody harrelson so ill be acquiring that at some point to give it a try.

Nipper watched "Drag me to Hell" and loved it... but then he's not a fan of intellectual movies lol.

Marley and Me is a personal favourite!

I'll be looking out for Zombieland too

Last watched "The Proposal". It followed the usual formula and plot... so was predictable of course. But very watchable - deffo a girlie movie though

Saw "Shooter" last night. Watchable but not an epic.

Oh I forgot... "Showtime" was on this afternoon... but I wasn't really watching it. Bobby De Niro and Eddie Murphy. Naff nonsense
