She is 13, and she is a terrible teen, every sentence starts with Oh my god  Grin
I have also got a 15 year old son, but he is less dramatic thankfully Roll Eyes

I've been there twice but the last time was 10 years ago but my youngest has now reached the dreaded teens and is a nightmare. Roll Eyes

Can't sleep tonigh... so on a mission... and have got oodles done!!!!

Anyway I've had movies on the telly whilst I work. Have seen them all before but love them all!

PS I love you: Of course anything with Gerard Butler in is going to get me interested. This movie is fab... and brings out the girlie in me

Seven Pounds: Have just sobbed through this. Very cathartic... and much needed (anyone who knows me knows that I don't cry in my own real life... so i need a movie like this, or a puppy movie to give me that release

Slumdog Millionaire: Quite rightly the winner of so many awards! However... I have the theme music as my ringtone. So when the music played in the movie about 15 minutes ago... my heart lurched. You know when your phone rings at silly o'clock, and it only means bad news (like someone dead or in hospital)? Well my heart lurched out of my chest for a split second before I relised it was the telly and not my phone lol

Not sure which movie I'll put on after this. Probably something that's not going to make me jump in quite the same way!

En route I have:
Fourth Dimension
Men Who Stare At Goats
Final Destination
Twilight 2 (New Moon)
Law Abiding Citizen

Still can't get 2012... but I'm happy to wait.

Anyone got any recommendations? We love scifi and thrillers when it comes to movies. Hoping you guys may know about something that has slipped under our radar

Turtle loses his shell. Is he homeless or naked?

We watched Twilight last night to see what all the hype is about - well that and the fact that our cable was down so had no TV!

Felt as though we should have been watching it as teenagers, and also I couldnt quite see the hype over Robert Pattinson!  I've got one friend who says theres something about him, but I couldnt work out what it was! lol

Inglourious Basterds - absolutely fantastic - and well worth watching!!! Bart didn't see the second half so I won't give anything away... but do watch it. It's excellent.
yep ill back you up on that one flooey - Inglorious was well worth a watch - brad pitt has a few funny moments throughout  Wink

To be fair I thought Brad and Mike Myers were the weakest characters in it - but hey, it's Tarantino... he needed to put a bit of humour in it somewhere. Loved the ending! Bart's now seen it... and is raving equally as mucg as me.

Have The Fourth Kind arriving as we speak. The comments said A9 V9... so am \hoping it's okay - taking its sweet effing time to arrive though!

Ange bought me a penguin ornament which has mental eyes! Any of you that come round and use my downstairs bathroom will have seen it. It's psycho! I even made it a blindfold at one point... because the eyes follow you around the room. That was when it was in the living room though. Now I leave it so guests get freaked out when using the loo - at least they will now! Mua ha ha ha!

That made me laugh, we've got a duck in the main bog which freaks Mr C out when I place it so it's bill is nosing at the toilet pan Grin

Have got an erm ahem... copy of that, whisper - so looking forward to watching it. Also got "The Fourth Kind" but it was in the wrong format, so will have to find another one.

Have also got 2012, and a couple of others too.

Cheers whisper - I haven't tested the one we've got... or looked at the filename... so hopefully we'll be alright. My ex-brother-in-law sent the link through and he said it was decent... so hopefully it'll be fine.

The other night I watched "Stand By Me" - great film. Haven't seen it for a few years.

Remembered last night why we rarely watch films on TV (or at all) which is that once you get into them you get hooked.  But last night while I was watching The X Factor Mr J watched "Raid on Entebbe" which he really enjoyed and then instead of going to bed early as planned we did a bit of channel surfing and started watching "Sahara" which had James Bond type action scenes and which didn't end until well after midnight.  It wasn't very good but it passed the time....
