Stayed in last night and watched The Hangover ... dont get me wrong it was very funny, but as they do quite often these days, they show the funniest bits in the trailer advertising it, so I was actually a little disappointed as was hoping for a bit "more".

Watched a couple of movies last night.

Daybreakers - not too bad for a vampire movie. Interesting twist in the premise.

Upperdog - we loved this movie. 80% was in Norwegian (or was it Finnish?) but it was one of those movies where you really don't need the dialogue as the acting was superb. Great if you're feeling a little arty.

Just watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.  Slightly odd but interesting film about age.  I'm feeling very reflective at the mo so was more moved by it than I usually would be.

Watched the end of 50 first dates ..funny movie..then click. I liked it. Interesting twists I thought. Then I watched reign over me...blimey not a typical adam sandler film...rather sad and upsetting in many parts.

Last night we watched "The Invention of Lying". Didn't expect to enjoy it as much as we did. Good belly laughs all round.

Saw the Benjamin Button film... and Bart enjoyed it more than me.
50 First dates - yup - enjoyed that
Click - loved that
Reign Over Me - never heard of it,. but will give that one a try.
Cheers!

watched 'couples retreat' and 'the proposal' on valentines day with RiGhTy

couples retreat has its funny moments but the story was a little ...whats the word....crap  Wink (very eleoquent LeFtY  Roll Eyes) think i wouldnt have enjoyed it if i had seen a preview/trailer since we they ususally give the highlights of a film rather than a taster these days

the proposal with ryan reynolds was good - same old story but were both big ryan reynolds fans since we used to watch him in two guys and a girl many years ago.

not bad considering it was supposed to be chick flicks for a romantic day but managed to get some watchable films instead that passed judgement from her in charge  Grin

think ill go watch 'the men who stare at goats' now  Grin

oh we got '500 days of summer' to watch as well but has anybody seen it - or can tell me whether its worth the 2 hours out of our lives or not  Smiley

Yes Sam - I wasn't that impressed either... especially as I'd loved the book so much.

Started watching Invictus last night. Stopped it though for anothr time as it looked brilliant, and we were ready to fall asleep.

Watched Avatar last night - and was very pleasantly surprised! We both really enjoyed it. Missed the end... but I think we know how these stories turn out.

Men Who Stare At Goats tonight... and possibly the Proposal
