Horrible bosses. It's was quite entertaining, Took me a few minutes to realize Colin Farrell was in it, but a brunette Jeniffer Aniston stole the show  Tongue<drool>

Will have to look out for that one.

Have watched "The Guard" over the last few evenings, absolutely brilliant film, Brendan Gleeson is excellent.  An absolute must see for anyone who has ever had any dealings with An Garda Siochana, and even those who haven't will find it hilarious.

Gleason is a great actor, In Bruges is my favourite movie of recent times.

LOL Smokie.

Last watched "Warhorse". Typical Spielberg - great cinematography... gripping story... and lots of tears (and that was just Alan). Highly recommended (the film that is, not Alan).

The Actors - Dylan Moran playing a number of characters in this comedy alongside Michael Caine. Gilly bought us the DVD some time ago as we'd lost ours. It's a movie that we have watched countless times... but to date have only found one other couple that enjoyed it.  Love it!

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy - had been looking forward to this for ages. However... it was ok... and certainly not worth all the hype in my humble opnion. It wasn't "bad"... just wasn't really "good".

The Iron Lady - now this one I really HAD been looking forward to. I only watched the first 40 minutes or so as I went to bed, shattered. But I am looking forward to seeing the rest. So far, Meryl Streep has been superb... and Jim Broadbent was excellent too! From what I've seen so far... highly recommended... even if you can't abide the woman (like Alan).

Twilight movies - I'd watched the first one in the series a couple of years back and thought it was "ok". But I've now watched New Moon and Eclipse... and have to say that I am hooked! I have the latest one in the series queued up to watch. I'm not enough of a fan to plough through the books (have read the first one) but as some mindless diversion, the movies tick the boxes for me. I love the CGI wolves!!

Last night we watched "The Grey". Liam Neesson and a few chaps are in a plane that crashes into somewhere thick with snow (don't knhow where). There is then a struggle for survival as they are being hunted by a pack of wolves.

The CGI was terrible - and that detracted from what was actually quite a good movie. We'd recommend it - but don't expect much from the special effects as they really weren't special.

Started watching "A Dangerous Method" earlier. It's got Keira Knightley in it. It's about Karl Jung & Siegmund Freud.

Keira's acting was really SOOOOOOOOOOO bad, that we had to turn it off.

Then we put on "Best Laid Plans", which is very loosely based on "Of Mice & Men". Good gritty Brit movie. worth a watch.

I find turning the sound off and just staring at her works well enough.

Hmmm... doesn't really work for me.

Started watching "Anonymous" but I went to bed as I was shattered. It purports the theory that it wasn't Shakespeare that wrote the plays - it was an Earl. Looked ok, so will try watching it again.
