just watched Angels and Demons - have to say I enjoyed it even though I'm not a fan of Tom Hanks - but then I loved the Dan Brown books

I thought Angels and Demns was better than the Da Vnci code... as movies. But I preferred Da Vinci Code as a book.

Did I read somewhere recently he's brought out a new book?

yep, agree with that Flooey - I preferred the Da Vinci Code as a book but preferred Angels and Demons as a film.

And yep, he's got a new book out called The Lost Symbol -I've got it but havent read it yet.

Watched "Is there anyone there" last night. It stars Michael Caine, and is about an old fella who suffers with Alzheimers.  I was disappointed to be honest. It's okay for if there's nowt else - but don't rush out to get it.

The night before... we watched two movies.
Bruno - vrey VERY funny! Not one to watch with your mother though... as it's obviously very risque, and pretty crude in places.
Inglourious Basterds - absolutely fantastic - and well worth watching!!! Bart didn't see the second half so I won't give anything away... but do watch it. It's excellent.

yep ill back you up on that one flooey - Inglorious was well worth a watch - brad pitt has a few funny moments throughout  Wink

watched a perfect getaway featuring milla jovovich earlier too - not bad but watch IB if you fancy one to watch this week.

got the fourth kind (another jovovich film - RiGhTy is a big fan of her) as well but im thinking we mite wait on that one as the quality looked questionable.

Amongst other things at Christmas we get a "token" present from the partners at work .... I've put in a cheeky request for Ice Age 3 ... well we've got 1 and 2!  Cheesy

we usually get vouchers from the partners of the company (M&S or House of Fraser), then our department partners buy us a token gift (think its only our department that does this) ..... they've done it for years and its usually a tenner ....... well rather than buying us something we dont want, we tend to drop BIG hints! lol  The partners pay but its lower down the food chain that actually go out, buy, wrap, etc!

To be fair I thought Brad and Mike Myers were the weakest characters in it - but hey, it's Tarantino... he needed to put a bit of humour in it somewhere. Loved the ending! Bart's now seen it... and is raving equally as mucg as me.

Have The Fourth Kind arriving as we speak. The comments said A9 V9... so am \hoping it's okay - taking its sweet effing time to arrive though!

Watched "Australia" again tonight - really enjoyable in a cheesy way.

Got "The Good Shepherd" on as I type. Worth a watch if you like CIA / FBI / Spy movies. It's just that the son was sooooo badly cast!

Ooh... haven't seen Ice Age 3 I don't think - will look out for that!

When it comes to animated movies... I love "Happy Feet"! But then I collected penguin related items for years. Only gave it up when I moved here... bringing just one tiny penguin wind chime... and a penguin furry thing that my brother made for me when I was four. Ange bought me a penguin ornament which has mental eyes! Any of you that come round and use my downstairs bathroom will have seen it. It's psycho! I even made it a blindfold at one point... because the eyes follow you around the room. That was when it was in the living room though. Now I leave it so guests get freaked out when using the loo - at least they will now! Mua ha ha ha!
