Forgot to ask ...Jude et al...will things be open as normal on New years Day aka 1st Jan or will shops etc be closed.

We'll also still be there until 7th jan and wondered what to expect in costa T for Epiphany/3 kings celebrations which I presume will be the 6th...Thinking it would be a nice end to our hols !.

Again will things be open/closed and where to go to see best parade...

So little time....so many questions !!!

Thanks again for a great forum...its been very helpful.

tinkerbell have answered this for you on TA luvvie but i'll do it here too for our canary nightlife members too.
most things are open as usual, the supermarkets normally have their opening times for xmas etc on the doors but there is usually ome smaller ones open during the fiesta times.
kings day is celebrated the eve before,ie,the 5th with a parade thro costa of the three wise men on camels throwing sweeties out, starts 6/7 pm ish, never starts the same time every year!! and is normally around the teguise playa area ending in peublo marinero with carol singers and fireworks! def worth waiting around this area from 6pm ish.
