I think that lots of people dont have enough recipes for simple meals. I like carbonara although I do add cream so cheat a bit and also use mozerella instead of pamersan chess but its really easy, very quick. Most ppl have pasta, an egg and some cheese hanging round and in 15 minutes could be sitting down to a yummy simple meal.

Just thought I would hijack the football thread cos usually all other threads are hijacked by football

My favorite carbonara recipe has white wine in it as well as the usual ingredients.  I find that getting the sauce to thicken without turning into scrambled egg is a bit of an art.........
