Didn't they spend an awful lot of money in a bid to buy success?

Madstock I feel I must correct your grammar Sir :

'Didn't they waste an awful lot of money in a bid to buy success?'

Would be more grammatically correct  Wink

Not a catrostrophty at all , Mark Hughes agrred certain things with the owner and hasnt done it , all teams need time to gel , think MUFC when Baconface first took over , think that took 3 yrs , clubs have knee jerk reactions especially when the new owners want successmore or less straight away , Mansour is one of them Gillette and hick others , Carston Yeung will be another , at least this time the successor has been sorted out immediately , and if Hughes hadnt taken charge yesterday i wouldnt be suprised but he took legal advice and now he will be getting a hefty severance pay , and have xmas off, he will be back , wouldnt surprise me if he is at another North West team very soon , still he has left us in 6th position 4 pts behind the topp 4 and a game in hand ,

this was coming it has been on the cards for a while and even was posted yesterday morning by a reliable source it was going to happen , for sure its a s**t way to treat a manager , but thats City BUT if he had been allowed to get the Sheiks plaything sorted , robiniho it may have been different

I will support them regardless who is manager , maybe em,ploying a ex RAG wasnt such a good idea as a lot of Blues have never excepted him and there have been rumblings from fans from day one ,

Mancini has won things in Italy and has played here so you never know rememberthe two most recent very successful managers had never coached in England before hand , and came from leser leagues , the SPL and the japanese J league

and i do think this may be a short term appointment
