Once lofgged in... click on "Profile" towards the top of the page"

Then click on "Look and Layout preferences".

Scroll down and you'll see a drop down menu next to "Use quick reply on topic display" - select "show on, by default".

Click "Change Profile" in the bottom right hand corner.

Next time you open up a thread... scroll down to the bottom of the page and you'll see an empty bos has appeared, which means you can reply from the same screen... instead of hitting reply next to a message.

If you then press "Quote" next to a message you'll see that you can still quote someone's post as it appears on the "Quick Reply" box.

Then you can simply hit send.

Of course if you remember the emoticon codes, you can type those in by hand (I usually forget). But you can also click on preview and then you'll see the same box as if you'd hit reply instead.

If you just want to type a few words as reply then this means it's faster... but if adding pictures etc - then stick to hitting "reply"

Hope that garbled message made sense!
