, HM Revenue and Customs have just issued a WINDING UP petition on Portsmouth Football Club  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

I have read it was bad and the staff and players havent been paid on time for the last 3 months and only received some pay when people leant the money to the club , BUT this is serious they could be out of existence very soon ,, just to rub it in they will have to replace them in the Premiership with Southampton  Grin Grin Grin Grin

Sadly football is no longer a sport, now its more of a business!
Gone are the days of pulling on a team shirt, and have a feeling of pride.
Now its a case of how much will you pay "me" to wear your shirt, usually by a bunch of foriegn mercenaries Angry
I stopped believing when we ( England) oppointed a "foreigner" as the national coach.
Selectors hang your heads in shame!!!!!!!!!

Something seriously wrong here in the past , BOTH Milan Mandravic the ec owner/chairman and Harry Redknapp ex Manager have been charged with 2 counts each of cheating the inland revenue , also looks like David James is leaving to go to Stoke

Pompey will go into Administration tommorow after 4 potential buyers failed to make the takeover deadline , so they will either lose points this season or may lose them at the beginning of next season , now i suppose its up to the taxman wether he wants to go into liquidation , at the moment its great for some teams, city incl as they will not lose the points they got from beating Pompey ,

In administration 9 pts deducted so now on 7 points and need 10 wins and a draw out of their last matches to stay up if at all possible
