Just a very quick review, first day back so not much time.

Called at La Chalinita on Saturday eve, we weren't really in the mood, not least because we were 'mealed out' after two weeks of restaurants.  Have to say it was the best meal and service we've had in the fortnight in PB, better even than our other well known favourite.

We shared an avacado, prawn and smoked Salmon starter, Lyndilou had a flambed Sea Bass in Cava main which was fan-flippin-tastic.  I had Tuna, which was cooked exactly how I asked for it to be cooked, and we had a bottle of Lanzarote wine beginning with a B (can't remember the name, but I think it's the same one as we had with Josie and Mr J once)

Excellent meal, excellent service and will go back every time we visit, well done the Chalinita team.

Yum yum.

Had just one meal there towards the end of our last stay, and it will definitely be on our list of places to eat out, on every future occasion we are in Playa Blanca!

Wasn't it Stratus Flash? Just thought the name was familiar when we drove through La Geria recently and saw the bodega.  Bermejo is the "B" Lanzarote wine - Bernie's favorite.

We also went to La Chalanita on our last night - the night before you and had flambeed steaks again - superb.  Chose to wait at the bar for a window table.  A great meal as ever.  Only one small complaint which is that Roman did offer (and we accepted) veggies instead of rice but we ended up with lovely potato dauphinoise and rice as usual.  We were quite happy with what we had though but it is nice to know you can have a selection of veg if you want them.

Can't wait to try the sea bass with cava next time.  I wasn't sure about flambeeing a fish.
