 Grin Grin

I suspect it's because the eggs aren't too fresh - sell by date is the sixth(nealry eggspired), and I didn't put any vinegar in the water which would have helped.  Or British chickens are made of sterner stuff.

I poached an egg which was past the sell by date at home recently and it worked out OK - perhaps the eggs were too fresh?  Did you remember to use bottled water?

Why are you poaching your own eggs when you're on holiday?
Get yourselves down to Le Moka for Marion to do it for you while Dave gets you some freshly squeezed orange juice.
Then grab some quiches to take home for tiffin and perhaps a cake if you've been good.

Anyway, my last food was, unsurprisingly, brekkie at Le Moka.
That reminds me, I've not had a veggie brekkie in there for a while.

Far too much.
Half a potato skin with cheese and bacon starter.
Then I had the shared combo starter (as a main course)
I always ask for some chicken bites withit to stop it being totally vegetarian but I couldn't eat any of them, so they are in my fridge for tomorrows tea.
A big glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and a couple of coffees.
I'm fit to pop.
Did I mention, or even need to, that all this was at Le Moka.
