Three young blokes we watched in a bar last week in CT and they were great. Anyone else seen their show? If not if you get the chance then go and see them........they were really good  Songs of The Temptations,Four Tops, Lionel Ritchie etc....... |

I think it was called The Inn Place just by the beach. Not a large bar was busy most of the time |

If you are into a bit of soul, Soul Commitments are playing every saturday, starting 6th feb in Mulligans Bar PDC.
They are a nine piece band doing stuff from "the commitments" and "dirty dancing" films and a huge amount of other great, dance floor filling stuff

I know a couple of the members of Soul Commitments. Would like to hear them play at some point. Wonder if they'll take a bimble down to Playa Blanca... then I can have a drinkie at the same time!

Never say never BUT they are all so busy with other gigs/bands the saturday night is their soul night. Why not get an apartment for the night and have BIG night out in the city!!

We have talked about heading up with our pals Ange and Dave and getting an apartment for the night (would probably be cheaper than getting a taxi). Heaven help everyone - it would get very messy! Just trying to find a time when all four of us are available... and can get babysitters, dogsitters etc sorted out. We'll do it eventually I'm sure. |

QGB, if I'm thinking of the right place, its on the main strip, just round the corner from Spenders. If you head from CC Atlantico and head away from the old town with the beach on the right, its on the left hand side just before you reach Supermercado Dos Mil (thats the supermarket with the cafe), on the corner.
But I'm sure others will confirm!
