I was once spoken to by a PR at the terrazza bar, casino puerto del carmen. He advised me of what was on the menu then walked away, only when i said iīd like to eat there he came back. He was good, not sure but maybe simon, stuart or steve. Was definately a S. Meal was ok, views excellent, bill ok but he was ok.

Look out for the ones near the main nightclub area. Pains.

I know that times are hard and bars and restaurants need to do all they can to attract customers but I'm sorry to say that their P.R's are making it a very unpleasant stroll along the strip. We find that sooner all later we have to cross over the road and walk along the promenade to escape the pestering.
It's strange that most of the good restaurants and bars (ie. good food and prices) don't seem to need reps.

I never go into a place to eat because of a PR but that's usually because I pretty much know in advance where I want to eat or at least the type of food I want.

That very true Rich we do the same, but you still have to " run the gauntlet". I know that a polite "no thanks" is usually enough. Trouble is you get fed up of saying it.
