Anyone see the men's downhill this evening?

There was a hill/jump about a third of the way down called the Weasel.

I thought it was amusing  Cheesy

Got to practice my presentation - but it was really funny - was getting dinner ready and kept hearing commentary - "......as he's approaching the Weasel..........."

Chaos reigns at the Winter Olympics. After the death in the luge the Irish bobsleigh team are refusing to compete until the course is gritted first!

I'll get my coat shall I.

who comes up with the names for these hills/jumps/corners?  There was a Coaches Corner and something about a Toilet Bowl?

Been watching the curling - can't believe they can spend so long discussing tactics in the middle of the game.  Rubbish sport to watch if you're tired - I keep drifting off through boredom and missing the exciting bits.

Cross country getting more exciting - a photofinish between 2 Russians in the mens sprint.

Amy Williams!!!!!!!!!

Great to see a Brit gold medal - and such a nice person.

Women's Super G on live now - saw the men's replay late last night - the Weasel gets a mention on most runs!

we watched the mens last night too Josie, but whilst it was on earlier in the evening.  We were waiting to see the Brit but some poor unfortunate Swede (I think) crashed out and had to be airlifted off the course .... so while they were waiting for him to be lifted, everyone else got delayed and we turned over at 9 to watch the Mentalist!

I'm only guessing, but I reckon the Brit came in near the bottom, if in fact he even made it to the bottom of the course?

Yes the Brit got down - and I don't think he was last.

Watched more live curling last night - Brit women against the USA.  I kid you not the Brit skip has a very interesting hairdo - lots of blonde highlights but with a big dark section about an inch wide down the side of her face.  Must have been done for effect.  Went to bed after midnight when they were neck and neck.  Mr J was really getting into the tactics.
