just had some customers in the cafe today who are staying there,they were very philisophical as they had not paid much but basically,the food and entertainment are geared towards the spanish all inclusive market now,i think the hotel changed hands last year, now owned by oasis group instead of hoteteur so this might be why?
the hotel is clean and basic and about 20 min walk into town,so it depends what you expect from your holiday really?if you prefer something a bit more geared towards the uk market how about the lanzarote bay? it's just next door to the timanfaya .

hi thanks for your reply, we know lanzarote quite well we always stay in teguise, basically we just look for somewhere thats clean have tried a few different places this came up as we had to change our original booking & this was the only one they could offer us, we are only doing self catering as we know a lot of the bars & restuarants there, are you by any chance the owner of the british cafe near the square next to scots & wry? thanks again

thanks elle cant wait for the first of july we where just worried about the bad reports about the appartments just somewhere clean to sleep is all we need and lanzarote will do the rest

oh in that case jill i'm  sure you will be fine,the hotel itself is nice ,reception area is always clean and the last time we had some friends there it was clean. have you ever tried booking private accomodation? there are some really good bargains to be had in costa,mainly in the playa bastian/las coronas areas
try www.epanabreaks.com ( am i allowed to do that elle?) most are around £200 per apartment with all extras,eg cooking facilities,uk tv,washer etc.
