Hi Guys,

My partner and I are planning our first trip to Lanzarote in late April! We both are very excited and cannot wait to experience a new culture! We are staying at Los Zocos Club Resort, and looks very attractive.

I have a few questions about the resort, if anyone could help would be greatly appreciated.

We have many restaurants written down, with great reviews (from this and other sources). However, are there any that stand out and are traditional restaurants ( we want a break from our british way of living for a week, although a cuppa and breakfast at the british cafe is a must I hear!!)

Also, When are the markets in CT Open?

Is there a supermarket nearby?

Are cash points/ATMs readily available?

Thanks for any answers that you may be able to help with, cannot wait for the holiday!

Thanks,

James

HI there JimiK, and welcome to the forum!

I think the markets in Pueblo Marinero are on Thursday daytime and Friday evening

Yes - no problems with cashpoints. There is one at Solbank on Avda del Mar, and one at a bank at Punta Jablillos just for starters (others may remember where others are).

No problems with supermarkets, there are a few dotted about the resort for you.

Have a great time!

HI. There is a supermarket right next door to las Zocos, and another at  the front of the small square just 2 mins walk away. There is also a Santander bank with ATM machine outside, next to this supermarket. In the square, are several bars/ restaurants, and access to beach. If you are looking for more traditional type restaurants you would be better walking further down to the Pueblo Marinero area. There are lots scattered around here. If you like visiting markets, make a trip to the sunday one at Tequise. Most coaches do a pick up point right outside las Zocos.

i would recommend tapas at Kermans La Pikada or Repikada, one on either side of the road as you head to Pueblo Marinero
