Black Armbands

Tonight the full England team and u21's will be wearing black armbands in memory of the Macclesfield Town boos Keith Alexander who died suddenley last night at home after Macclesfields game at Notts County

I watched the back end of a match on Saturday, think it might have been Arsenal and they were wearing black armbands, anyone know why ??

Same thing , clubs in the lower two divisions did the 1 minute silence/applause but the top two didnt , think it was due to Keith Alexander was a lower divison manager or maybe it was due to the knowledge Niclas Bentdner was in attack on saturday(ok i know he scored 3 last night but usually cant hit a barndoor)
