A big hello to all in costa teguise
my name is craig and me and my family are moving to teguise in late april and was trying to put the feelers about getting some sort of employment out there?
i am an experienced bar manager in the uk and have over 18 years in this profession and i am seeking any contacts or jobs available for bar work when i arrive.
my wife is also experienced but has also worked in schools as a non teaching assistant if anyone know of any opportunities in that field she has all her certificates to prove this.

if anyone out there can point us in right direction i would be extremely grateful.

things are a bit tough for everyone craig,but if you have your heart set on something no negative comments tend to sway the view!
there are nearly always bar work opportunities but most owners tend to manage at the same time and the ones that dont seem to take people that have been here a while,it can be hard to trust people straight away as the island is so transient.
on the school side why not try las arenas,the international school,they have a fairly high turnover of staff and while I'm not sure about job opportunities for assistants it doesant hurt to try,there is big article about the school in this months holiday gazzette magazine ( online too)
