Is it only me who sobs whilst watching these? Some episodes are better than others - by a long shot! But tonight's Derby episode had me in pieces. Those of you that know me well... know that I find this kind of thing hugely cathartic.

We get the programmes from torrents Tracy... and then watch them through the telly. Generally we watch the programmes the day after they're screened. It's kept us sane for a couple of years now Grin

I'll drop you a PM shortly Tracy - all about torrents etc. You don't need a laptop - and you can watch them either on your computer itself... or by buying a little piece of kit that plugs into your telly for about 75 euros from FT.

Get your facts right Bart. Tracy lives in Lanzarote... not Liverpool.

And besides - of course I know ours came from the UK... but the one that Dave P bought recently, came from FT. Vis a vi, Ferrocur Tías!

Now go boil your head or something else more useful than prattling on, when your head is so far up your backside you're sniffing nasal hair!

Pfft!

I would be interested to know what that piece of "kit" is Elle. Is it anything that is independant of your computer i.e. I don't have to lug the laptop from the office downstairs up to the TV?

I am using a cable at the moment that cost about 12 euros from Informatica.

Yes Lynne. Go to FT and ask them for an "External harddrive with media player" and whatever else (cables etc) you need in order to watch media files on your television. The brand you can get here is called Aqprox). Then you copy the files from your computer onto the harddrive... then plug that into your telly, and away you go. It's more expensive than just plugging the laptop into your telly... but it's worth it - especially as you can also store your laptop's backup files etc on it too.

We bought a similar one from the UK (storex was our brand). Best piece of kit Alan has ever bought!

I love Secret Millionaire and watch the repeats too LOL.
It's funny because one of the episode's was in my home city of Dundee and another was in a little seaside town 5 miles from where I live now and I actually know someone on that show that was helped  Smiley
