Hi

Me and my friend are coming to Lanzarote 19th April and have book into rocas blanca apartments for a week. we just want to know where is the best place to look for work, we are willing to work at anything and i have t 3years waitressing experience so it be great to get work in tat. Also wat is the best way to go about looking for rental accomodation???

Hello there - and welcome to the forum.

I voted for Puerto del Carmen... because you will need to be fluent in Spanish to do Arrecife. Of course you may well be fluent (so I apologise if I guessed wrong)... but there are more bars and restaurants in PdC anyway.

The best place to look for work is all the bars and restaurants - you'll need to go door knocking I'm afraid.

For rental accommodation - a Google search will bring up a load of Estate Agents.... we recommend Lanzarote Investments who have an office in Calle Anzuelo in PdC. Ask for Gemma. Or you can ask around once you arrive... as people you speak to might know of things that aren't being advertised, or that don't charge a finders' fee (Lanzarote Investments don't charge one anyway)
