Grin  After a boring & processional first race, they certainly put on a good show in Melbourne!  It was a great race & a well deserved winner.

LH has gone off the rails since he seperated from his Manager Dad!  I think he needs him back to keep him level-headed.

What do you think? Wink

Or is it the lack of a certain Ron Dennis ?

Great race, edge of the seat stuff up to the last few laps.  I think it shows that the tyre situation will play into JB's hands as the season progresses and LH is certainly harder on them.  Vettel is awesome and a complete all rounder.

Fantastic to see Alonso 'stuck' behind his team mate - history shows his temprament isn't built for that.  Second race of the season and already sparks flying in at least two teams - should be fun.

.........and by the way Michael who??

I think the season has shaped up pretty well so far, it's interesting to see people like Hamilton suffering with tyres because of the new format and his driving style.

I think it will be an exciting weekend.  We went to Monaco eight years ago, fantastic weekend - you get so close to the cars it's incredible.  The weekend we were there Coulthard had pole, but screwed up his launch control, my bet was Juan Pablo Montoya who absolutely stuffed it into the swimming pool wall right in front of us, and of course a certain German fella in a red car won.

We're off to Silverston for the GP this year, only ever raced there, never spectated - always hated it  - too fast and too wide !!

What happened between Hamiton and his dad ?? sonds a fairly terminal falling out.

Well - Vettel has a new chassis for Turkey - apparently there was something wrong with the one for Monaco - so, who is going to take pole and who will win?!!

Flash - if anything did happen tween Lewis & his dad then it has been kept really quiet as I have not read anything!

Also Jean Todt's son is hoping to have a F1 team for 2011!

Wow, what a race, watched it in the Wax bar.  Oooo how embarasing though, poor Sebastian, I've read today that Christian Horner seems to be blaming Webber, I saw it more the other way, but what an own goal!!

Yes Dottie I'd heard nothing, but then saw an article when Ham was asked when he'd last spoken to his Dad and he said he couldn't remember, there were other hints too that it wasn't good.  Real shame, couldn't help wondering if that's why he looked so miserable on the podium yesterday, didn't seem to celebrate much.

That indeed was an embarassing crash & I saw it as Vettel's fault too!  Great for McLaren tho ')

LOL @ dixie d's comment - I thought those earrings were/are awful.....

Now for Canada - what to expect this time?!

Well my prediction - for what it's worth:

Canada is hard on the cars and also tyres, so I'd go for at least one red bull having issues, and maybe Hamilton having tyre problems - which post race will be referred to as a bad call by the team, or a good call by Button!

Maclaren have some new bits, so a Button (Mr Smooth) win.  Maybe a podium of Schuey too, given the nature of the circuit.  Oh, and expect a surprise good result from Cubica too.

There you go that's my prediction - to be shot down Sunday evening  Grin

Anyone else........

Valencia looked gorgeous from the heli-shots Smiley  Webber is lucky to be alive after that shocking accident.
Alonso is a mean-mouthed, jealous so & so!!
All in all a good if not spectacular race with a great result Smiley
My driver of the day - Kobayashi

Agree with you about Kobayashi.

Webber very lucky - funny how he's always the one in the wrong place isn't it - a pattern starts to emerge.......

Alonso - typical Catalan!

Was at Valencia for the F1 GP two years ago, might look nice from the air, but it's a rubbish circuit to watch from, the middle of the circuit is all very tall buildings so you can only see 'your bit' of the track and for the drivers it must be like driving in a blue tunnel.

Off to Silverstone in a fortnight - can't wait  Grin Grin
