Hi Everyone,
Just popped by to say what a great time we had while on the island. Saw so many things and met so many nice people. Top thing to happen was being at Rancho Texas Park just as one of the deer gave birth. We saw it from the begining and stayed until he/she took his/her first tottering steps... what a way to waste an hour and a half of your life
Unfortunately, the magic nights didn't really go according to plan (i think Englands world cup schedule put the dampner on things) but at least there was one good night when it went on until 2 o'clock in the morning. There are some photo's floating around somewhere when I find them I'll post a link.
A big thank you to Helen for arranging things at her end (and for the best spoons I've ever used
) and to the guys and gals behind the bar who looked after me so well with a special mention to Gary and Nat.
And of course a big thank you to everyone on the forum who sent good luck messages and offered up some good advice. Thank you all.
