Hi, me and my boyfriend (22 & 25) are visiting CT in July staying at Santa Rosa apts, and have been reading reviews that suggest there aren't any youngens(that aren't children), so without sounding ageist just wanted to know if you tend to get young couples visiting like us? X

HI Gracey - I'm afraid I don't know much about the clientele at the Santa Rosa - but there's a few bars dotted around outside the hotel (including Steptoes as featured on the CT page of this site), as well as plenty going on in the town centre.

If you want to get more lively... then the number 1 bus can take you to Puerto del Carmen and back. I'm not sure what time they run until at night... but they go pretty late.

Welcome to the forum by the way!

as long as it's not me thats hungover! lol , i'm only allowed out on friday nights! day off sat for hangovers!
forgot to say gracey you need to head into town for the more livelier nightlife, ask for pueblo marinero and you will find most things around there,if you fancy a quieter night ther are bars on the doorstep to santa rosa, try cheers, dickens and steptoes and you can also go into the coronas playa hotel, its' thompson gold and they have live acts/bands etc on every night x

Thanks Guys, you have restored my faith in the holiday Smiley

When I was booking a holiday I was bearing my boyf in mind who isn't the party animal (unlike me- when I do eventually go out  Grin) so thought CT had a good balance of quiet and social/lively aspects

Then the other day was looking at reviews and some pics on various websites ect that gave us the impression it was going to be a ghost town- saw my boyfs attitude towards the holiday getting slightly negative (even though he likes the quieter side of life??)

But after reading these posts- I can't wait!!! Smiley n like a few have mentioned if I do want a boogey I can head to PDL (not that I won't make myself a dance floor in a bar haha)

Thanks guys! x
