We decided to swap our sky tv and BT broadband to virgin media as it seemed a good deal with an extra box and HD,, so it took them 41/2 hours yesterday to fit it.  When we tried to send it around the house as our sky had been,, cos we've got 7 tele's,, they have made the box so it can't be done.. After ranting at them on the phone for ages they are taking it back out,, so a day wasted and holes all over the house for nothing,, what a nightmare. Got to get my other stuff switched back on now  Angry

i used to be on ntl and they were *expletive deleted*. virgin took them over if i remember rightly and ive never had any real problems with sky and since they tend to be the best all rounder (virgin have better broadband apparently but their tv/phone are supposed to be poorer). id never switch from sky now even if they do end up costing a touch more than the other companies they tend to sort their s**t out better than the rest. never hurts to throw a "switch to virgin media" into the conversation when you do have disputes though  Wink

I think sky need to improve now though,, Virgin have free HD,, free espn, catch up tv and you can tape 2 things whilst watching another... Sky charge £20 for espn and HD and £10 for an extra box comapred with virgins £5.. Ah well back with sky now   Smiley

Can of worms, Madstock - he'll only start boring us with 20 year old stories again! Roll Eyes Grin

He's got a habit of repeating himself... apparently he gets it from his Dad.

Trouble is he's getting too old to remember where he wrote it now.  Grin

Apparentlenty this is no longer called having a "Senior" moment.
It's now being called, "Having a CRAFT moment" as in, "Can't Remember A F****** Thing".
