Welcome Steve. Smiley

We enjoyed the Cutty Sark in CT, we ate there 6 out of 7 nights. Food was very good and ample size portions.

Enjoy your holiday Smiley

Hi Steve - and welcome to the forum.

What kind of food do you really like to eat? The suggestions above are fab if you're after good Brit grub... as is Steptoes too up by the Coronas Playa. I also love Casa Luis just along from Steptoes - great for lunches and/or tapas.

Then you'll like Casa Luis for sure - full of locals! It does get busy... but it's worth the wait.

Also give Doña Lola's a try. It's one of the last (if not THE last) Spanish restaurants at Punta Jablillo. I had a corker of a lunch there with a splendid salad and puntillas - yum!

You can't beat that restaurant at the end of the beach in Arrietta though Steve! Lovely spot!

Good for you! Always good to have plans for the future. Do choose your area very carefully though... and make sure that you're likely to get plenty of bookings before you sign on the dotted line. There are all sorts of horror stories where people have been missold by that "ever so helpful and friendly Estate Agent" and then couldn't rent their place out because of a variety of reasons.

Not trying to shatter your dream honey - far from it... but just tempering it a tad with a bit of local knowledge if that was the route you were taking. Of course if it's a holiday home purely for your own use, or for family - then you've nothing to worry about. I'd be counting the days down until retirement... or until I could sell my business Grin xxx
