Just go to any pub in the Tynemill chain and you won't do wrong, or better still, get the train to Beeston and go to the Victoria.

we once went to see durham play notts,it was a batchelor day as someone was getting married,the nightime was ended up in pontefract,what a night that was do go anyway lunch came and we decided to go for a few pints outside the ground c.g the oldest pub the one with robin hood what do they call it? anyway to cut a long story short we were back for tea  a long lunch. |
