I'm due over in September and have noticed there havn't been any updates since May and was wondering whether the bar is still open as i'm sure its the same one someone has told me about to watch some of the Premiership games on a Saturday afternoon.

Hi buckit - and welcome to the forum.

Yes... the Wax Bar is still very much open!! They've just been too busy to get online recently.

Watched the F1 GP in Wax on Sunday, ace, I had top fish and chips from A Plaice in the Sun (really nice ~ small cod and chips 4 euro, just the job for a lunchtime) LL had a cheese and onion toasty from Cafe Aroma and said it was nice too.

Great little setup, could've stayed in there all day.
