Hi everyone, I'm a bit late introducing myself. I've been lurking on this site, but haven't said anything so far.
We've been here since March this year, and love it. Married Stan three days before we flew out (awwwwww). He's a freelance writer, works for companies mostly in the UK, copywriting, scripts etc. I'm an ex-civil servant (27 years in DWP) - yes you get less for murder! Took early retirement and generally assist Stan with admin stuff. The rest of the time, I potter around, soak up the sunshine, and enjoy life.
Originally both from NW UK (a long long time ago) but left Swindon and Stroud respectively, I just miss the Magic Roundabout soooo much!!!
Renting out our properties in the UK and enjoying a long term rental out here, but fully intend to stay for ever.
We live in Playa Blanca and are trying very hard to learn Spanish!!!

Ducking stool rather than taxi. Hi, I'm from Lancaster so that makes me from the same neck of the woods, and we took early retirement to PB from Salisbury last October. Being DWP must have helped with your E106! Have you got sorted with the Centro de Salud?
Which end of PB are you? as you see some of us infest the cafes around the Faro Park end.
Do you know that they are supposedly starting free Spanish lessons in the Residents Association near Bookswap nex month?

Do you have a Sloop? (sorry - couldn't resist that!! - bet you've heard it zillions of times before) Yes, all sorted with Centro de Salud thank you, it was relatively painless. We are in Faro Park, and occasionally pop into the cafes.
We go to the Intercambio at Puerto Calero, but would be very interested in the free Spanish lessons in the Residents Association - would that be La Aurora? I would be grateful if you could let me have any information on that.
