what do you think about 2 wks in each resort

looking to come over for  about 3mths to decide to move here permanantly  [ just me ]
so thinking of staying in diff areas for 2/3 wks to get a fair judgement of each place
looking for a quiet area to live but also near enough  for  some life going on
whats your  ideas , reccomendations of places you know  on this  pse guys ??

That's a good idea Poppy. Come over with a "living in" head on (althought you'll be in a hotel etc) and you can guage the various areas for yourself... such as proximity to half decent supermarkets etc.

In Playa Blanca, I'd look for some where across the dual carriageway from the Harbour - Las Terracitas or Las Brisas, that sort of area. They are quiet communiites of smallish houses.  If you like the look of a place on Alpharooms, see if it's near there on the map.

Hello. I would have to agree with John B Las Brisas, Las Casitas and even Casas Del sol. They're slam bang in the middle of the village and no more tham 5 mins walk from the beach, restaurants and entertainment. Puerto Chico's quite nice aswel...its opp the commercial centre so could be abit noisey, but u'd be very close to the sea and beaches at Flamingo and the village and if u wanted bit more of a treck Dorada. What ever you decide I hope you enjoy it.
