Don't know if any of you caught this programme.... but I'm watching it now.

One of the things that really warmed me was that right at the start... young Paul was preparing a coffin for a gentleman from a local old people's home. Apparently the old fella had no family or next of kin, so the council was paying for it. There was to be no service etc. Yet the coffin he was preparing was still a nice one, complete with lining etc. Considering nobody was going to see it... I liked that the old boy was still given some dignity for his trip along the rollers to be cremated.

Oh my... it says that he's going to have to deal with the death of a family member... and I'm guessing it's the old dear that he was chatting to.

Where's the box of tissues?
