Cheers, them prices will do for me - I am just trying to budget and lager is one of my more frequent purchases when away on holiday.  Drink sensibly like I did and your budget will be OK Mark. |

I was in a bar up the way from the Cutty Sark and a pint on the board said beer €1-50 so I called in for one, when I got the pint the girl asked me for €1-58 and give me a receipt, on the receipt it said,
1 Drink..............€1.50
BASE IMP........€1.50
5%I.G.I.C...........€0.08
TL.....................€1.58
Is 5%I.G.I.C some kind of tax mates.x

So then shouldn't they advertise €1.50 plus tax? I know I'm being pedantic but I'd of said "no thank you, I want one of the €1.50 pints that your advertising." Come on Bob, what bar was it? |
