Hi there

This forum is great for all the help and much appreciated, I have another question. When I move out to Lanzerote my son will be coming with me and he was asking how it would go about driving, he is 21 and he's had lessons but would like to know if you can learn over there?

My older son has just been made redundant, he is an Electrician. What's the situation for electricians work in Lanzarote?

Thanks again

HI Mary - very happy to provide help - they're a good crowd in here.

Yes you can learn to drive here... but it is pricey and he would need to speak decent Spanish. Far better to do it in Blighty to keep the pressure and stress to a minimum. Our nipper looked into all of this recently - and opted to do it in England before he moves back out here.

Always work for electricians out here... as self-employed. He'll need to set his documents in order (which Ben at www.asesoriaeuropa.com can sort for him). I don't know of anyone (English speaking) who takes sparkies on with a contract I'm afraid.

Hope that helps a little xxxx

Hi Elle

Thanks again, hopefully he can get driving before we come out there, he can't speak spanish. I will let my older son know that there is self employed work, that's great.
