I don't remember seeing or hearing of any on the Island. Has anybody come across one ? Maybe they are a no no with the planners,or too expensive to import them.

I don't think permanent ones are allowed, although there are always some parked on the scrap land at Playa Quemada.  There is a large site at Papagayo, which is heavily used from Easter to September, but closed in the Winter.

Yes, they are tourers....

Couldn't say why but I always wanted to own a camp site...

(Camp as in tents, not as in the Madstock definition of camp!) Smiley

I think some of the ones at Quemada would be difficult to move without falling apart.  Does that qualify them as tourers Huh

they've came a long way from the ones i remember.. Grin Grin
now full of mod cons..

Wow! Static caravans have come on a long way in the last 30 years (I guess they would!) since my parents owned one in northumberland and then whitby. I always remember it being cold (even in summer) and dingy tbh.
