It's been overcast the last couple of days... but still very warm - and you can still burn. I'd be surprised if the rain was more than just a couple of drops.

Don't worry! xxx

yep, still very warm.  The locals keep telling us there´s a storm due, but we still havent had one!  We´re supposed to be at a BBQ on Thursday - what´s the chance it will happen then? lol

For what it's worth, the Spanish met office forecast is here  http://www.aemet.es/en/eltiempo/prediccion/localidades/yaiza-35330, but please use your entire baggage allowance for raincoats, wellies, hats, umbrellas, scarves and wooly mitts, then it's bound to be good!

I'm amazed, the weather man was almost right.  We had a short heavy shower before dawn.  To quote Flash, it's faired up now.

There you are , Dottie, just shows how accurate these sites are - your last two links say different things!  I believe in seaweed!  Looking out if the PB window at 11:55, there is complete high level cloud cover, no wind and a temp of 25 degrees.  I wonder what it's like further up the island?

I just put some towels out to dry and within ten minutes they'd got resoaked in a short shower.
The shower was accompanied by strong gusts of wind that rattled everything in the place, but only lasted for about five minutes.
