Ten Bobs?  Wow that's 100 pints sold per night for the Cutty Sark!

Will it end up with a snowball effect, as more people hear of the "expedition" to Costa Teguise they'll want to join in and it'll end up with the whole of Chorlton going.
I hope Jude and Stu can do 136 brekkies in one go at midday.
That's just for the early risers, there'll be another 256 at half two in the afternoon.
Then at three o'clock 865 of Bob's closest mates will arrive.
I don't think anyone could manage that, they'll probably have to send half a dozen next door.

Smokie - I agree with Keith - you are class.  Sorry I didn't get to Le Moka for a chinwag last week.

smokie, "It's never too long between your visits."  I read that as, "you don't stay away long enough", and thought that was a bit pointed!  Then when I tried to put myself in your head - dear oh dear!- I realised you were saying "it's not usually very long between your visits!"

That's ok John.
Josie'd know that I wouldn't say that.
Sometimes I don't write at the same speed as I think and I certainly don't think at the same time as I type so it's easy to misunderstand.
What I meant was, "you'll be back soon Josie and then we'll catch up."

I fell for it too!

Loved your post above smokie. Was with Jude and Stu for a little while yesterday afternoon (in the hairdressers). Jude was using my nail varnish... and cutting elastic out of the bottom of her trouser legs - so that she didn't look like a Hobbit. Grin

Did the elastic go under her feet, and had she pulled them up too hard?
