All change!

The plan was to leave here, have a day at sea, go to Sokhna and bus the cargo to Cairo and the pyramids on Monday and then go to Safaga on Tuesday / Wednesday for tours to Luxor, the new plan is something along the lines of day at sea / Sharm el Sheikh /Eilat in any order you care to choose.  In fact, I was thinking of posting a poll on here to decide as the owners don't seem to be able to.

We have given them all available options and costings and all they seem capable of doing is looking at the negatives of everything.  They seem to expect us to be able to fix the revolting Egyptians.

grrrr  Angry

Today is not going to be a good one!  I can sense it already!

Walked in the door, got bombarded with phonecalls about a meeting I know nothing about ....
three secretaries are on holiday and all of their fee earners are screaming out for urgent work!

On the plus side, TFI Friday!

Not fee earners SG - lawyers!  I'd blame the management for letting all those secretaries have holiday at the same time.

Already been going on for 10 years, and no 2 is only 9, so a bit to go yet!!! Due to cutbacks, I may lose my company car next year, so that could be interesting..........

so far so good ... been to the vets this morning and Bru is healing nicely, apparently!

Had a few friends over last night and they actually reckon he is calming down already!  I dont see it, but then I see him all the time, but they seem to think so .... time will tell I guess!

Have been earth fault tracing with the chief electrician all afternoon, we had to black out half of the main switchboard and then gradually reconnect various bits of electrickery until a fault showed up, isolate that bit and then continue until everything but the broken bits remained.

Mr J is very excited about buying at Costco a sort of camera with a long probe and a big screen for looking into engines, underneath things etc.  I'm so unexcited about it that I've already forgotten what it's called.

Besides household stuff and food I bought a lovely Puffa jacket which was really reasonable at £29 and a couple of books including Steve Jobs' authorised biography.

Then I went to the hairdressers for ages for colour cut and blow dry.  I don't think they can have been very pleased to see me (though they were very nice) as I worked my way through half a box of tissues while I was there.

Then it started snowing.....

Just spent two and a half hours of the forty mile round trip to get my dad home from the match.  To say the roads are bad is an understatement!!
