New Registrations

Due to the number of spammers attempting to join the forum at the moment, we have taken the decision to change registration to "must be approved by a moderator", for a while.

This is hopefully only a temporary measure - and one which we know will make this forum a safer place for all our members.

If anyone has their registration refused, it will always come with contact details for people to approach us directly to assure us that they are genuine. The genuine people will of course be accepted.

I've actually opened registration up again now,. as it wasn't saving me any time... I was still getting notifications for new members joining... I was still banning a number of them, even though their accounts had to be activated by us.

Josie - I can categorically state that we will NEVER charge our forum members for using this website. We feel that it is ethically and morally wrong, when the information (news, photos, answers to questions etc) is freely available elsewhere. It's a cheap tactic to make people feel they're getting extra value when they're not getting anything special at all.

You guys are valued and special enough for us to provide / share / make available the information on ALL the websites we own... completely for free!

However, if people do feel that they would like to contribute anything because they're feeling pink, warm and fluffy... then please have a read of THIS THREAD instead
