Fit to burst!!!

Went to La Chalanita Restaurant tonight with a good friend of mine and Alan's, who is over for a week. We shall call him MLC.

Starters
MLC: Mushrooms with Chef's special sauce
Elle: Avocado with king prawns and smoked salmon

Main Course One
Paella for two

Main Course Two
Flambéed fillet steak with goats cheese sauce x 2 (comes with steak cut chips and a taster portion of ricxe)

Dessert
Strawberry Tiramisu for MLC, with a handful of strawberries on the side for Elle

2 bottles of vino, a Baileys and an Amaretto

No... your eyes aren't deceiving you. We did indeed have two main courses EACH!!! I did tell MLC that he was insane and that we would never eat all of that... but he insisted that we'd have a good go! And have a good go we did.

Am now sat at home feeling far too full up than is healthy.

The food and service were impeccable as always. Got nattering to a nice couple outside (we were having ciggies) and it turned out they were from Portsmouth - small world eh? They have been to La Chalanita lost of times and love it too.

A lovely night with a great pal... great wine... great food... great service.

I can't believe you ate all that!  I love the goat 's cheese sauce.  My dad had that steak last time he was over.

Yeah I think that's what I had last time. That sauce is to die for!!!

And no... I can't believe I ate all that either! Oh and a bread roll too!
