Hi,
I'm Paul, although I have been clanky on the interwebz for as long as I remember, just moved to the island last week, decided to base myself in Puerto del Carmen for a year while I look around and see where / whether I want to be on a more permanent basis.
Keen kayaker and am partial to a good walk, work at sea as an engineer, not much else to tell really.

Hi Paul, glad you enjoyed the walk yesterday. Elle, he's our latest recruit to the walking group - we met on that other forum, and I suggested he join this, much friendlier one!.

Hi there Paul - and welcome to the forum, and the Island! It's always nice to see new faces in here... and like Flash says, most are pretty friendly. There's only Alan who can be a right miserable old git at times... but a sharp kick to the shins... or slap around the back of his head usually sorts him out  Nice one John - the more the merrier! I've yet to kick the group into gear again for the new year. If we do decide to start formally on the 9th, I'll hapilly organise a separate walk for the 2nd - perhaps one around La Geria might suit.

La Geria sounds perfect! I've missed out on Geria walks twice now... so keen to go. Count me in on the 2nd if you DO go.
