New channel comes online for sky today on channel 108 called sky atlantic with loads of stuff on, which ive spent the last few minutes going through and series linking so we can fill our sky box up with loads of programs that weve heard good things about,

boardwalk empires, six feet under, curb your enthusiasm, entourage, treme, soprano's, blue bloods - some of these mite b worth a watch to those with too much spare time  Wink

im sure there will be a couple of duds in their but were gonna give them a go

I got the impression that it's the US Channel HBO under another name (not that I've got a Sky subscription or anything - I just see the ads on the free digi box channels)

yeah could be that , HBO was never on sky thou was it i know it was on "on demand" i will have alook , hope it on my parenst virgin , and my BT Vison as looking at whats on its mostly all the programmes i enjoy , like no soaps or reality rubbish LOL and all good acted US shows

oh they are that John , i used to watch Soccer saturday every week and SSN wason a lot when i got chhnace but now its suddenly subscription only , as far as i am aware SKY have had the biggest amount of complaint letters about that move , i now hav eto subscribe to sky sports 1 and 2 aand ESPN to get my sport but i am getting greedy as being by myself i can watch anything they show LOL

Boardwalk Empires is superb.  I've just watched No 11, only No 12 to go for this series.  It's one of the best series I've watched for years. Some similarities to Deadwood 60 years later, but easier to hear what they are saying.
