which programmes scared you when you were younger , i had two one a serioes and one a specific programme

DR WHO , i always hid behind the sofa i dont know why and i still dont watch it nowadays
lol not because i am scared think i got put off


and

I think it was Hammer House of Horrors , and all the pipes in theis house brooke and BLOOD went all over the house that gave me nightmares for ages after

Some mother's do 'ave 'em - it used to really scare me as a small child as I was always terrified that Frank Spencer was going to hurt/kill himself Shocked

You wouldn't have liked Charlie Drake then. He did all his own stunts live, and they had to stop the programme one night when he was knocked cold being dragged through bookshelves.

When the read the title of the thread, even before I had clicked into it, Dr Who sprang straight to mind, and I chuckled. 

"Who in their right mind would be scared of "Dr Who?", I thought!

And there you go!  A generation of neurotics, who spent their childhoods cringing behind the sofa!   Grin Grin

"It's a knockout"!  Absolutely LOVED that programme.  My Dad and I used to sit and watch that and the tears would be rolling down our faces laughing at the antics of the people in the huge suits trying to do the games.

...... but how could you be scared!!!   Undecided

Stuart Halls laugh , sorry its scary and still is , nice bloke thou his son married a schoolfriend of mine and i went to the reception and the laugh is there in real life as well not a put on
