Great series, apart from the last 5 mins, which I thought looked like a hastily-written way of changing the plot to end it then, because episode 5 had been pulled.

I actually quite liked the ending... as it was left fairly open.  Didn't know they'd pulled the fifth - that's a shame!

One of my favourite things to have watched lately.

Well we sat and watched all 4 episodes on Saturday night - worth it - if as Johh B says it was condensed into 4 rather than 5 that would explain the ending - it always seems to happen that the shows reels you in and the endings never quite seem to be right - hubby reckoned he could have written a better ending (didn't want to burst his bubble so nodded in the right place !!!) - but still an enjoyable way to spend Saturday night !!!

Elle, no I didn't mean I knew a fifth episode had been pulled, just that it looked like it had because of  the sudden end. Thinking about it, it was open - but only like a cat's bottom - not the Mersey Tunnel!  If they have another series, it would be like the kid's  Saturday morning cinema. At the end one week, the hero's car would be being crushed by a tank, the next week, he mysteriously avoided it!

Ah! Sorry... I misunderstood.

Love the cat's bottom comparison - fits it perfectly! Grin

Loved it too.

Anyway a good story's about the journey not the destination, it's a 21st century construct that we always have to have a spectacular finale.

King Lear, the best story ever written, has a rubbish ending, but that always makes me cry because the story is so good leading up to it..
