We really love Doctor Who. Gutted that we can't watch it on crimbo day like some of you lucky people... but we'll get to see it soon after - so no letting slip with any secrets please! In the meantime - HERE is the official site for fellow fans. Not just the Xmas Special... but the new series looks like it's going to be excellent! Flooey xx

Well, that series ended... and Bart and I finally managed to see the finale two weeks after it was shown in the UK (house move yada yada).
It was my favourite episode so far!!!! Had me sobbing - though not as much as when the Doctor said goodbye to Rose in a previous series. I just loved it!
The best comedy lines yet! Captain Jack is fab. In what other series could you stick a bisexual (actually he´s more of an "anything sexual") fella in as a such a great part?!
Anyway... the 3G connection is rocketting this evening, so I´m taking advantage and watching that episode again!
Love it!
Any other Doctor Who fans in this forum? Or is it just me? Actually I know that a friend of mine registered back at the very beginning... but we haven´t seen him for a awhile. "Cristo!!! Come support my one person Dr Who fan club!"
Flooey xx
PS: can you tell I´m already missing Bart, and he´s only been gone for 4 1/2 hours? *sniff*

It's ok Mick honey... I know that many don't "get" the whole Doctor thingy. I didn't! It terrifed me as a youngster so I never bothered for years. But Bart talked me into watching the nEW stuff when it came out - and I'm hooked!
The eldest lad already went back (he's old enough to fly alone). Bart's gone back to pick the youngest two up from Derby. He's picking his emails up though... so you should get a reply. If not, don't take it personally... he's got a list of stuff to do whilst he's over there.

Been done and packed, and Flooey is very excited about the £14 food processor (equivalent at least €50 in Lanzarote)... Let nobody say I don't know how to look after my woman!

I didn't actually realise that such an item was so expensive to buy on the island Floo.... But saying that, a lot of electrical goods are really cheap over here. Take laptops for example. At one time, not so long ago, you couldn't get one for under £1,000. Now ya can get a decent one for £250. Same with plazma telly's and the likes..... You enjoy it hon... I'd be lost without mine... The silliest things are pricey. It's only because we don't really get the cheapo versions here that we can pick up in Asda or Tesco. Plasma tellies aren't too badly priced here though. You can get a massive one for about €600 here now. And yes, when we get new laptops... we'll probably go back to the UK to get them. The money we save would pay for the flights etc lol.

I don't need an excuse hon,,,,, just a few bob, mi shorts n flip flops !! Just weighing prices up Elle. Flight prices are still "through the roof" at the mo. I'll hang fire and see what turns up. If all else fails, I'll scrap my October week, and come for 3 weeks at crimbo instead !! Sounds good to me...... But I don't think I can wait that long,,,, I miss my little bit of paradise tooooooo much.... Ayeeee,,, bart has deffo bought some new fangled gizmo for the computer. He did try to explain to me what it was, but I haven't a clue in all honesty..... Fishing in PB eh hmmmmmm. I hope the fish are a bit bigger than the "cockies" (Lancashire word for "little fish") that we catch over here !!.... Or else we'll have to be gettin a tin of the old "John West", and some "thick sliced Warby's !! ha ha ha.... or you'll have to stick me in the kitchen & "make do" with one of my curries & a dozen bottles of vino !! OK,,,,, we'll "skip" the curry.....LOL Mick

you can get laptops here for less than €400 and you have to remember not to use todays currency conversion unless you are going to buy on a Spanish cc.
